Rugby union session planner, tactics board and match video for clubs
Plan Tuesday from your club’s drills, draw the lineout on a full pitch, tag Saturday’s match and send each player their own clips with your note.
- Plan Tuesday around our lineout, 7 to 8:30, finish with a game
- The lineouts we lost v Drumcorr, in a deck
- Draw a four-man lineout with a catch and drive, in a playbook called Lineouts
- Adam Wallace’s clips from Saturday, in a deck
- We beat Drumcorr 24–17. Put the result in
Each is an example run on an example club. Watch three of them on the home page.
Sessions and the board
- The club’s drills in one library. Build a session block by block and the times add up.
- Draw a play on a full rugby pitch, in steps: the 22s, the 10 m lines and the in-goals. Start from a shape for attack, defence or a set piece.
- A squad of 15 a side, with the positions from prop to full-back.
Tag the match
| Event | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Try | Tries, and how each one came: open play, lineout, scrum, turnover or kick |
| Kick at goal | Goal-kicking, made of taken: conversions, penalty goals and drop goals |
| Lineout, scrum | Set pieces won on your own ball, each one a clip |
| 22 entry, kick-off | 22 entries scored, and kick-offs kept |
| Turnover, penalty conceded, knock-on | Where the ball changed hands. A marker on the timeline |
The score counts itself: a try is 5, a conversion 2, a penalty or drop goal 3.
Each player’s clips
- Send a player the clips they are in, with your note. They see their own, on their own phone.
- A deck shown to the squad says who has watched it.
